Instructions for use
When inserting
contact lenses:
Apply solution on the
internal surface of the contact lens before insertion.
During contact
lens wear:
Unless otherwise directed
by your eye care specialist, instill the content of one unit dose
in both eyes over a five to ten minute period, four times per day
on the surface of the contact lens during wear or in the conjunctival
sac. Upon blinking, the solution will coat the surface of the eye
and lens providing immediate and soothing relief.
Composition:
0.25%Carboxymethylcellulose
Electrolyte balance formula.
How Menitears works
Menitears provides an
instant relief sensation, continuous hydration and a protective
film with its carboxymethylcellulose wetting agent. The electrolyte
balanced formula makes Menitears just like any natural tear. At
the same time Menitears rehydrates the contact lens and the eye
for long lasting comfort.
This hypotonic electrolytic
formulation is packed in single doses without preservative for maximum
tolerance.
What causes dryness and discomfort :
Excess tear evaporation
Air conditioning
and heat in the office, car, etc.
Too many hours in front of computer or screens without thinking
about blinking the eyes sufficiently,
Long nights, sometimes in a smoky environment...
Insufficient tear secretion
Tear secretion
decreases with age and this is frequently the issue with presbyopic
contact lens wearers.
Drug treatments may decrease the amount of tears (some antidepressant
drugs, anti-allergic drugs, hormones treatments, etc...).
During pregnancy the quality and quantity of tears may vary.
For all of these cases
consult your eye care specialist
